England thrashed... back to the old days

England really didn't turn up last night - the excuses already flying in - all the gossip and rumours rubbing off on the players and leaving them unable to concentrate on cricket - clearly the fear that some Texan millionaire is making off with you wife. This kind of tournament would have worked out great for the likes of Gower and Botham but now you need to be professional about things it's been a waste of time.

England really struggling at 33-4 after 8 overs... clearly the pressure of $20m is getting to them...

With winning totals of 141, 122, 121 and 146 so far in this series there seems little chance of a high scoring bash fest for cheeky Sir Allen this coming Saturday.

Seems like a very slow dull wicket totally unsuited to 20-20 cricket... I expect the groundsman isn't heading for Lord's any time soon.
